Day 1 – Arrival in Bucharest, Transfer to Tulcea and Sunset Cruise

Upon arrival at Bucharest International Airport in the morning, we will meet our local representative and begin our journey east toward Tulcea, known as the gateway to the magnificent Danube Delta.

Upon arrival in Tulcea, we will check into a four-star hotel located directly on the city’s Danube promenade.

After receiving our rooms and enjoying a short rest, we will meet at approximately 5:00 p.m. and depart on our first cruise through the natural surroundings of the Danube Delta.

During this approximately two-and-a-half-hour cruise, we will enjoy the peaceful waterways, beautiful vegetation and remarkable landscapes of the Delta.

As evening approaches, we will watch the sun set over the Danube—an unforgettable experience and the perfect introduction to this extraordinary region.

At the end of the cruise, we will return to the hotel for dinner. Depending on the weather conditions and the size of the group, dinner will be served either in the hotel restaurant or on the hotel’s terrace overlooking the Danube promenade.

Day 2 – Full-Day Cruise Through the Danube Delta

After breakfast, we will depart on an unforgettable six-hour cruise into the heart of the Danube Delta, one of Europe’s most important and impressive nature reserves.

We will navigate through a fascinating network of narrow canals, natural lakes, reed beds and areas of dense vegetation.

Along the way, we will have opportunities to observe the Delta’s extraordinary birdlife, including pelicans, herons, cormorants and many other species that nest in the region.

The cruise will introduce us to the unique ecosystem of the Danube Delta and allow us to experience its silence, open landscapes and remarkably preserved natural environment.

During the day, we will stop for lunch in a traditional fishing village, where we can taste local dishes and learn about the lifestyle and traditions of the people who live in the Delta.

We will also visit an area known for its wild horses, which live freely in their natural surroundings.

The exact cruise route and visiting points will be determined according to water levels, weather conditions and the regulations of the nature reserve.

In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel. There will be time to relax and enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool.

In the evening, we will gather for a festive dinner in the hotel restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the Danube promenade.

Day 3 – Constanța and the Black Sea Coast

After breakfast, we will depart for Constanța, Romania’s largest port city and one of the oldest cities on the Black Sea coast.

We will begin our visit in the historic part of the city and enjoy a walk along its beautiful seafront promenade.

One of the highlights of the day will be the beautifully restored Constanța Casino—an impressive Art Nouveau building and one of the city’s most famous landmarks.

At the end of our visit, we will return to our hotel in Tulcea.

Day 4 – From Tulcea to Bucharest and a Traditional Romanian Evening

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and begin our journey to Bucharest, Romania’s lively and fascinating capital.

We will arrive in Bucharest in the early afternoon, check into our hotel and have time to rest and prepare for the evening.

In the evening, we will visit the famous Caru’ cu Bere, located in a magnificent historic building in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town.

We will enjoy traditional Romanian cuisine, a unique atmosphere and, subject to the restaurant’s programme, Romanian music and folklore performances.

This special evening will provide us with an authentic introduction to Romanian food, hospitality and traditions.

Day 5 – Discovering Bucharest

After breakfast, we will depart for a full day of sightseeing in Bucharest—a city that combines impressive architecture, fascinating history, colourful local markets, green parks and lively streets.

During the day, we will visit or view some of the capital’s most important attractions:

The Palace of Parliament, one of the largest and most impressive administrative buildings in the world, viewed from the outside

The famous Obor Market, where we can discover fresh produce, cheeses, pastries and traditional Romanian specialities

The Village Museum, a beautiful open-air museum displaying traditional houses, churches and rural buildings from different regions of Romania

The Choral Temple, one of Bucharest’s most important and impressive synagogues, subject to opening hours and advance arrangements

Bucharest’s main boulevards, squares and architectural landmarks

A panoramic introduction to the city’s history and development

Following the tour, we will return to the hotel for a short afternoon rest.

In the evening, guests will have free time in Bucharest’s lively Old Town. This popular pedestrian district is filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and entertainment venues.

Guests may select their preferred restaurant, experience the city’s nightlife or simply walk through the illuminated historic streets at their own pace.

Day 6 – Shopping and Departure

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel.

Depending on the scheduled departure time, we will visit Băneasa Shopping City, one of Bucharest’s leading shopping centres, conveniently located near the international airport.

There will be free time for shopping, coffee or a light meal before continuing to Bucharest International Airport for our flight home.

We will leave Romania with wonderful memories of the Danube Delta, the Black Sea coast, traditional Romanian hospitality and the vibrant city of Bucharest.

This itinerary is a suggested base programme that can be adapted according to the group’s preferences, interests, budget and available travel dates.

Additional days, destinations, attractions and special activities can be added upon request.

The tour can also be extended to include the spectacular Carpathian Mountains and destinations such as Sinaia, Peleș Castle, Brașov, Bran Castle, traditional mountain villages and scenic viewpoints.
